The problem of all scanning devices is the management of the device, getting proactive alerts in the event of an event and supervising the workflow, documenting the responses to alerts, and archiving the data.
We developed a single dedicated frontend for both MOBOTIX and Kentix to make operating the solution seamless and easy for the operators. There are no practical user interface differences. Users use the same device and same app with exactly the same workflow, login, permissions, proactive alerts, and resolution protocols.
In the case of MOBOTIX, a few extra features were added to make it easier to calibrate and adjust the camera in MxLINQ by anyone with Special EBT Camera Admin permission so they could make some needed camera calibrations (like in case of weather change) without needing access to the cameras browser interface which puts overall camera settings and security at risk.
Last but not least the IPT-EBT solution also enables life-long remote monitoring and management of the platform, remote configuration, and remote firmware updates which pays for itself over time and allows for a secure, fast, and premium service level.
